St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center, rooted in the caring tradition of the Sisters of St. Joseph, provides comprehensive physical and mental health services to uninsured and under-insured people in and around Rochester, New York.
For over 137 years, the YWCA has been and continues to be a powerful resource in our Rochester area community. Dedicated to empowering women and eliminating racism, the YWCA provides women and children safe housing, skill building for life, linkages to community resources and a caring staff that offers encouragement and support.
Established in 1952, The Open Door Mission is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Christian Rescue Mission founded to provide for the spiritual and physical needs of the impoverished and homeless men, women and children of Rochester, NY by restoring hope and changing lives.
Sojourner Home provides permanent supportive housing for women and families whose lives have been impacted by homelessness, domestic violence, chronic poverty, family instability, mental health issues and substance use disorders. Sojourner Home women and children, providing on-site case management, life-skills training, youth development programs and other support services in three supportive housing programs. Our mission and purpose is to give women and families the tools they need to recover from trauma and build stable, self-sufficient lives.
NAMI Rochester is an independent affiliate of the National Alliance On Mental Illness and NAMI New York State. They are a grassroots, not-for-profit, volunteer-driven organization that has been in Monroe County for over 35 years.
NAMI Rochester is dedicated to educating the community about mental illness, offering resources to those in need and insisting that mental illness become a high national priority. They envision a world where stigma is no longer a barrier to treatment, support is readily available, and mental illness is universally accepted as a treatable medical condition.
Delphi Rise is a community-based behavioral health agency, serving Rochester and the Finger Lakes since 1936, with Outpatient Treatment Program, School-based Prevention Education and Counseling, Monroe County Reentry Services, Mental Health First Aid training provider, Rapid Re-Housing, Domestic Violence Education, and Care Management Services as a NYS Department of Health - Health Homes Care Provider Agency. Delphi also operates an Open Access Clinic, providing on-demand substance abuse evaluations and referrals.
540WMain, Inc is a 501(c)(3) virtual non-profit organization and antiracist education brand that promotes justice for all. They encourage individuals to broaden their horizons and learn more about multidisciplinary issues and topics that impact the world.
540WMain is a virtual organization that offers multi-media content, online classes, and in-person educational events. While classes vary in content from arts, culture, and wellness to the environment, each class is rooted in and taught from social justice and antiracism perspectives and framework.
After 45 years, a small activist group of U.R. students has turned into a thriving community institution, now know as the Out Alliance. Someday LGBTQIA+ Americans may no longer need a civil and human rights movement or an agency that meets their specific (and usually neglected) needs, because hatred, bigotry and discrimination will no longer exist in our society.
Until that day, the Out Alliance will continue its work offering multiple online and in-person groups and services for LGBTQIA+ Americans.
Willow Domestic Violence Center has provided services for the Greater Rochester community for over 40 years. Each year, Willow Center reaches more than 7,000 people right here in Monroe County. Willow Center is the only New York State certified domestic violence service provider serving Monroe County, NY. Just over half of our clients are from the City of Rochester and nearly half are from the surrounding suburbs. Willow Center provides a full-continuum of free and confidential services, without judgement.
For more than 40 years, Foodlink has leveraged the power of food to end hunger and build healthier communities in Allegany, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates counties. Through good stewardship, innovation and collaboration, Foodlink mobilizes a diverse network of community partners to address both the symptoms and root causes of food insecurity.

St. Peter's Soup Kitchen has been serving the West Side Community of the City of Rochester since 1982.
"We started out as a once-a-week Saturday soup and sandwich program. Today we serve a well-balanced lunch to an average 120 people a day, Monday through Friday. We are a non-referral agency meaning anyone who walks through our doors is welcome to share in a meal."
