About: Sewing since childhood, Barbara later received a degree from the School of Fashion in Boston. Years later, as a busy mom, Barbara designed and sewed a yoga mat bag and received a bit of unexpected attention from her yoga friends. Next thing she knew, she was making more of these bags for friends and for the yoga community to sell! Over the years Barbara has perfected and fine tuned the construction of her mat bags as well as eye pillows, masks and meditation cushions!

About: Carrie is an independent designer and maker who sews leather handbags, clutches and accessories. After college Carrie sewed an over-the-shoulder bag out of a ripped up motorcycle jacket. Friends began asking for their own bags, thus emerged Carrie George handbags. Now, Carrie's designs are grounded in premium top-grain 100% leather with additions of wood, metal and canvas. The metal used on the clutches are hand-welded by a friend and local fabricator.
